Each week your child will have the following homework:
1. Math Skills Review Sheet: Each Monday students will bring home math homework that is due Friday. Online logs will be returned on Mondays. Please turn these in on Friday to be checked.
2. Sight Words: Each child has a list of sight words in their agenda that are checked off each Friday. Please look at the log sheet to see what words your child should be practicing. The log sheet should be signed by the parents twice each week after practice is completed. Please DO NOT check off the sight words at home!
3. Guided Reading: (GR is what the students write in their agendas.) Each night students bring home a book to read. This needs to be read out loud to an adult. Parents, please sign and mark the reading log that comes home with the book. GR books and reading logs are kept in the pocket in the binder. GR must be done nightly.
